Agent Store Starter

Build a complete online store with Claude Code or Codex, preview it locally without an account, then import it into Foundax to launch. Open-source prompts, a Claude Code skill and a real workflow demo.

Agent Store Starter

From a reference design to a working store

Give your coding agent a reference and your business details. It builds the storefront together with products, shipping, returns, promotions and legal pages. Preview the result locally with a working cart and simulated checkout. No account is required for local building and preview.

Watch the complete workflow

The video follows Nightfold from the coding agent to import, visual editing, launch-readiness review and checkout. Nightfold is a fictional demo store; the recorded payment flow uses a test environment. The opening agent sequence is recreated from the session log. The launch-readiness view uses the repaired product UI.

Start with one command

Send the following to Claude Code or Codex in an empty folder:

Build a complete online store inspired by HUSH. Run the command below, then read AGENTS.md.
Ask me for the site name, market, currency, languages and business facts.
Complete the site, business data, local preview and checks.

npx foundax@latest init --showcase hush

Choose HUSH for a lighting-store reference, or replace hush with strata for the STRATA keyboard store. The agent adapts the design to your brand and products.

Check, preview and launch

  • Run npx foundax@latest check to validate the data and compile the storefront.
  • Run npx foundax@latest preview to inspect product pages, cart and simulated checkout on your machine.
  • Run npx foundax@latest pack, then import the zip from the Foundax site list to create a draft site.
  • Review the imported site, configure payments and your domain, check launch readiness, then publish.

Importing and hosting require a Foundax account. Local preview does not create real payments or orders. After import, continue editing visually or with your coding agent.

What is open source

The prompts, documentation and build-store Claude Code skill are MIT licensed. The Foundax CLI, compiler kit and storefront SDK are free to use for building and previewing stores, but are not open source. The demo video and its soundtrack have separate credits in the repository.

Requires Node.js 20 or later on macOS or Linux; use WSL on Windows.

Read the README and try the skill on GitHub. Explore the Foundax CLI.
